Allegra Introduces a Confident New Chapter with Red and Releases “Waterfall” Video

London-based pop artist Allegra continues to build momentum with the release of her second EP, Red, marking a clear step forward in both sound and artistic identity. Released via Radikal Records, the project presents a more refined and confident version of the artist, expanding on the emotional storytelling that began with her previous EP, Unsent Love Letters Vol. 1.

Following a series of successful singles and chart placements, Allegra has steadily established herself within the UK pop and dance scene. Her track “Wildfire” reached the top of the Music Week Commercial Pop Chart, while “Love You Right Back,” featuring DJ Alok, and “Round & Round” with Tiësto contributed to her growing international visibility. These releases positioned her as an emerging voice capable of balancing club-driven production with personal songwriting.

With Red, Allegra shifts into what can be described as a more mature and self-assured phase. The EP consists of five tracks, each exploring different emotional tones while maintaining a cohesive pop framework. From the darker atmosphere of “Ash” to the softer, more vulnerable “Love Me A Little,” the project moves through contrasting moods. “Slow Dance” leans into a more sensual, rhythm-driven direction, while “Waterfall” offers a lighter, more uplifting pop moment.

The focus track “Waterfall” is accompanied by a new music video that visually reflects the track’s breezy and accessible tone. Musically, the song blends polished production with Allegra’s signature vocal style, reinforcing her ability to move between introspective themes and more radio-friendly pop structures.

This release follows Unsent Love Letters Vol. 1, a project that introduced a more intimate side of Allegra’s artistry. Built around the concept of unsent letters, the EP explored the emotional stages of a breakup, combining vulnerability with themes of self-worth and independence. Produced by Tim Gosden, the project highlighted her ability to translate personal experiences into structured pop narratives.

Across both EPs, Allegra demonstrates a consistent balance between emotional depth and commercial appeal. Her music often centers on themes of empowerment, particularly through the lens of personal growth and relationships. This approach has resonated with a broad audience, supported by strong streaming numbers and regular radio play.

Beyond recorded music, Allegra has continued to expand her presence through live performances, television appearances, and media coverage. She has appeared on BBC platforms including BBC Music’s Flagship Show Playlist and Saturday Mash Up, while also receiving features in publications such as Wonderland, Euphoria, and OK! Magazine. Her growing visibility reflects a steady progression rather than a sudden breakthrough, built on consistent releases and audience engagement.

Since her debut single “All About Us” reached #2 on the Music Week Commercial Pop Club Chart in 2021, Allegra has achieved multiple Top 3 entries on the same chart. Her success has also extended internationally, including a #1 position on iTunes UAE and a Top 10 placement on the Billboard Dance Chart in the United States.

With Red, Allegra continues to define her place within contemporary pop, presenting a body of work that reflects both artistic growth and a clearer creative direction. While still early in her career, this latest release suggests a deliberate move toward a more confident and fully realized sound.

“With ‘Red,’ Allegra steps into a more confident and refined space, delivering a cohesive pop project that highlights her evolving artistry and growing presence in the international music scene.” – Music-Alive
