Over the years, DRK has been able to reinvent itself to give its productions today much more “dancefloor” rhythms, moving from electro to moombathton, from pop to reggaeton, through tones drawing on all inspirations and influences of this man of sharing. In the form, all the new pieces are dancing. In the background? Celebrating with friends, flirting, falling in love, separating, depressing… All that youth can experience… Of Armenian origin, DRK was born in Iran and moved to France at 5 years old. Real (Cypress hill), Talib Kweli, DJ Qbert … This gives him the inspiration to make “The Connection” an album inspired by the 90’s featuring M.O.P, Afura, Jeru The Damaja, Lil Dap (Group Home) etc … Spotted by Keny Arkana in 2012, then Guizmo in 2014, DRK has made itself indispensable. No longer being only a DJ but also doing addlibs on stage for the two rappers, his talents as an ambiant make the difference to return to the venues and festivals where these 2 great artists perform with whom he has more than 300 concerts that have made this man a stage animal … Meet on the dancefloor for the urban sound of clubs with a hint of French Touch.
