LA-based songwriter-producer Natalie Gould is trailblazing a new sound in pop music with her artist project CiteMe. Her unique melodies, compositions and versatile approach to songwriting has been described as experimental, anthemic and honest. Natalie is unabashedly authentic and has accumulated acclaim from a growing number of accomplished songwriters, producers and engineers. 2019 was a busy year for Natalie, releasing multiple singles in collaboration with different artists, building her repertoire under her moniker Natalie Gould. Finishing the year strong, she garnered recognition for her single “Hold Me Close” (Feat. Michael Plummer), being selected as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. Natalie’s unique style can be accredited to her diverse background of experiences. Attending high school in South Korea, college in Berlin, Germany and travelling across Europe has contributed to her one of a kind sound and global inspiration both musically and lyrically. Connecting to people through music and language has grounded her message in honesty and liberated her musical creativity. Through studying Audio Engineering and Music Production at dBs Music Berlin, she sparked an interest in the craft of Songwriting leading to her enrollment at the Los Angeles College of Music. Her myriad of vocal hooks, arrangements and intimate lyrics drew a wide variety of artists to collaborate with her and the easily consumable, creative production package keeps them coming back for more. CiteMe is an artist project Natalie has been diligently working on in 2020. Inspired by a powerful movement, she speaks her truth and communicates her message in the way Natalie knows best. Addressing issues that personally affect her, and the masses, with the intention of bringing various topics to the forefront of conversations that need to be widely discussed. Natalie takes her listeners on a journey through each release to paint a full picture of what it means to be inside the mind of Natalie Gould.
