Award-winning country-pop singer-songwriter Eileen Carey returns to the spotlight with her latest single, “This Is Where”, a reflective yet empowering perspective on life transitions. Based in Altadena, California, Carey has carved out a unique position in the independent music scene through her signature “West Coast Pop-Country” sound—a blend of upbeat melodies, accessible storytelling, and emotional resonance.
Unlike traditional breakup songs, “This Is Where” frames the conclusion of a relationship not as a tragedy, but as a catalyst for personal growth. The track addresses two people who have outgrown one another, focusing on the courage, love, and lessons carried forward as the end of their shared chapter marks the beginning of who they are becoming.
Carey’s distinct artistic approach has earned her significant recognition across the industry. Honored as the New Music Awards’ AC/Hot AC Breakthrough Artist of 2025 and the Independent Music Network’s Entertainer of the Year in 2025, she holds over 25 career awards and a history of chart success. Singles such as “Land with You” and “Good Bad Girl” have previously topped radio charts, holding the #1 position on the New Music Weekly Indie Top 40 and reaching #5 on their Mainstream Top 40 Chart.
A seasoned live performer, Carey has taken the stage at nearly 80 notable venues and shared lineups with iconic artists, including Don McLean, Rita Coolidge, Jefferson Starship, and The Motels. Renowned for a stage presence that bridges the spirit of Gretchen Wilson and Miranda Lambert, her live performances actively engage audiences through line dancing, singalongs, and interactive showmanship.
Outside of her recording career, Carey extends her dedication to empowerment as a beauty ambassador for Joe Blasco Cosmetics and as the founder of The Music Mom blog, where she writes on motherhood, wellness, and creativity. With “This Is Where”, Carey reinforces her commitment to uplifting storytelling, delivering a message of resilience that resonates across a growing international audience.
“Eileen Carey turns a moment of parting into a triumphant step forward with ‘This Is Where.’ Delivering mature storytelling set to a warm, uplifting soundscape, Carey reminds us that the end of one chapter is simply the baseline for who we are meant to become.”
