Gabriel Afathi – However that may be

After a classic formation for violon and piano, Gabriel is interessed by guitard and synthetiseurs. Since 2011, he collabs as a compositor with the audiovisual companies Chapet Hill (FR) et Highline Studios (USA). In 2012, he created the band “The Georges Kaplan Conspiracy” and did gigs across France. He composed & interpreted the music of differents shorts films (Cambio, Pursuit and Swing, realised by Thibaud Rerolle) for which he wons the price of the best music at 48 HPF in 2011, 2012, 2013. He was also nominated for the internationnal competition of Los Angeles in 2013. He also composed music for advertising (Caisse d’Epargne, GDH, Sup de Co, ESC…) and company films (Chocolaterie de Bourgogne, Landanger…). With a many years experience as compositor for image, autor, interpret and exploring differences music styles, Gabriel has acquired a great adaptation capacity and now devotes to going through several collaborations in his career the affirmation of a solo career (Grand Bonheur in Marseille, La Vapeur in Dijon).
