Born in Rome but of Sardinian nationality, with his sensual and gritty voice he creates an extraordinary sound experience fusing the Sardinian language and the Italian language, folk, pop and country. Francis-Q is a singer-songwriter who gathers small moments in the history of his island and daily events, making them live through his songs. Acute and narrative texts lead the audience on a musical journey through a unique world that goes from ancestral times to the present day. The emotions, the charisma and the talent of Francis-Q have made him one of the most appreciated artists in the independent songwriting scene. So in 2017 he decides to record his first album a set of stories and dialogues entirely written and set to music by Francis-Q produced and arranged by Primiano Di Biase and with the support of his fans through a crowdfunding campaign on Musicraiser. Thus was born in May 2018 “Pintadera” an itinerary of ten tracks through the victories and defeats of the Sardinian people. The release of the album is preceded by the videos of two singles: “Deus ti salvet Maria” and “A tie Sardinia” who saw them in the final in January 2018 at Roberto Rizzini Songwriters Award from Verona. The album “Pintadera” was also appreciated at Musicraise Acustic of Rome, Festival Artes et Sonos of Ruinas (OR), Folkest of Coreno Ausonio (FR), A stage for everyone by MArteLive of Rome Festival Alpàa di Varallo Sesia (VC), Mia Martini Ethno Song Award 2019 (RC).
