Good Time

“Dynamic music trio Amafella is set to release their highly anticipated debut single, “Good Time”, on June 20, via Tankfloor/Warner Music Group. This marks the official launch of a bold new chapter in Afropop and global fusion music. Formed by three powerhouse artists – Kazz Khalif, Tanaka Siziba, and Bailey Browne – Amafella represents a thrilling blend of Afropop, Amapiano, Afrobeat, and contemporary sounds. With roots stretching from Zimbabwe to the UK, the group’s music speaks to a universal audience while staying deeply connected to African rhythm and identity. Kazz Khalif, born Farhaan Khan, rose to fame as part of the award-winning duo Bkay & Kazz before launching a solo career marked by international acclaim. His viral hit Madhau, co-written with fellow Amafella member Tanaka Siziba, gained over 2 million views on TikTok and extensive airplay on BBC 1Xtra. Tanaka Siziba, also Zimbabwean-born, brings a vibrant fusion of Afrobeat and Western pop influences, having moved to the UK as a teen. With hits like Dhonza, Madhau, and Go Babi (featuring both Kazz Khalif and Bailey Browne), Tanaka continues to bridge cultures with sound. Bailey Browne, a versatile UK-based artist, is celebrated for his emotive delivery and cross-genre collaborations. His standout features on tracks like Maya and Go Babi, alongside solo releases such as Dawgz Dem and Come Again, have made him a rising force in UK urban music circles. Amafella’s debut single “Good Time” is more than just a track – it’s a statement. Fusing their individual styles into a high-energy anthem, the song captures the spirit of celebration, cultural unity, and the sheer joy of music. Its release marks not only the group’s official entry into the music scene as a unit but also their foray into the Italian music market, where their genre-blending approach is already turning heads.” – they say!
