Some bands are formed by strategy. Others by pure passion. Heartwish clearly belongs to the latter. Founded in Switzerland in 2020 by seasoned musicians, the band set out to create music straight from the heart — honest, melodic, and full of feeling.
A Band with Heart and Experience
Behind Heartwish are musicians with decades of stage and studio experience. Songwriter Juerg Weibel and vocalist Ricardo Iglesias shape much of the band’s identity. Together with other experienced artists, including Claudio Cervino and Cyrill Messmer, they created a project that combines professionalism with genuine enthusiasm.
From day one, the focus was never on trends, but on songs that last.
The Sound: Melodic Rock with Emotion
Heartwish blends classic pop rock with modern production and strong melodies. Their music features memorable choruses, emotional lyrics, and an overall positive spirit.
Themes such as friendship, hope, personal strength, memories, and life’s small meaningful moments frequently appear in their songs — making them easy for listeners to relate to.
Studio Journey and Audience Connection
All songs were produced at the renowned Powerplay Studios in Switzerland with our very established producer Urs Wiesendanger, contributing depth and quality to the band’s sound.
With singles like Get Away, Fly Away, The Lonely Heart, Fight, and Little Things, Heartwish steadily built a presence within the independent rock scene. Their 2025 album “These are the Days” captures the band’s essence: melody, emotion, and a clear message.
More Than Just Music
Heartwish sees music as a bridge between people. Their songs aim to inspire, uplift, and show that emotional depth has a strong place in modern rock.
Fans often sum it up simply:
Heartwish doesn’t deliver noise — they deliver feeling.
Looking Ahead
The band continues to work on new songs and remains committed to melodic rock with soul.
COMING SOON – “Better Place” from HEARTWISH, release date Saturday, July 25, 2026
Hope begins with a single step.
With “Better Place”, HEARTWISH delivers a powerful melodic rock anthem that transforms uncertainty into hope and reminds us that even the darkest nights will eventually give way to the light.
Driven by soaring guitars, anthemic melodies, and an unforgettable chorus, the song tells the story of people searching for strength in a world filled with broken dreams, fear, and division. Yet beneath the struggles lies an unshakable belief that change is possible if we stand together.

In a time when the world needs hope more than ever, HEARTWISH reminds us that every positive action matters. Because together, we can rise above the storm, change the future, and make the Earth a better place.
“Better Place” is an uplifting melodic rock anthem for everyone who still believes that music can inspire change.
