Heartwish is a band formed in 2020 consisting of the former members of Signus and Rick Taylor. On board are Juerg Weibel, Ricardo Iglesias and Urs Wiesendanger from Powerplay Studios. It was a heart’s desire of ours to make music again with passion and write melodic Pop Rock songs. Rick: Rick Taylor from Rapperswil-Jona is a thoroughbred musician and for almost 30 years music has been his greatest passion. Rick Taylor’s successes certainly include concerts such as at the Rapperswil Seenachtfest 2006, the best-known concert series “Acoustic” in Uster and in the supporting program of BASCHI, Fabienne Louves and Börni during the EM 08 “Athleticum Arena” in Rapperswil-Jona. Rick Taylor has also had some success in the Swiss radio landscape. Songs have already made it into the playlist of Radio Top, Radio Argovia, Radio Basel 1 and Radio Swiss Pop. The absolute highlight was certainly the live interview on Radio Top on 09.12.07. Rick Taylor had the opportunity to present his music to a wide audience. A crisp, rocking song was of course also played unplugged in the radio studio. Lets Rock & Roll… In 2008 Rick Taylor rocked at the 1st Expo Rapperswil-Jona. In addition, his song “Never give it up” was chosen as the official arena song of the EM 08 Athleticum Arena in Joner Grünfeld. During this time, performances followed in the supporting program of BASCHI, Börni and the music star Fabienne Louves. Another highlight followed in autumn 2008, when Rick Taylor qualified for the prestigious Acoustic Song Contest. His song “Dream” made it into the Top 8 out of a total of 152 songs! Another milestone in the band history was the 11.09.10, when Rick Taylor really heated up the Diners Club Arena in Rapperswil and inspired the good 5’000 spectators. On the occasion of the first home game of the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, the crowd “rocked out” during the breaks. In addition, the official LAKERS fan song “Never give it up” celebrated its premiere. At the moment Rick, Jürg and Urs are producing more songs in the Powerplay Studios and preparing for concerts with Heartwish. Juerg: Juerg Weibel, passionate songwriter has composed and written most of the songs. He and Rick have known each other for almost 30 years and that’s how long they have been making music together. Juerg can often be found playing sports, badminton is his passion, on the lake or on the race track. Motorcycles and cars are his favorite pastimes, just like music. It has always been a heart’s desire of Rick and him to produce our best songs professionally. In the last few years we have fulfilled this dream and recorded new, melodic Pop Rock songs in the renowned Powerplay Studios. Together with our producer Urs Wiesendanger from Powerplay Studios and Claudio Cervino our guitarist we have already arranged and produced some songs. The final mixes are available on all major music platforms and are already very popular.
