After a debut single with 25,000 streams (“Le Passé”) and the release of their first music video, De la Madeleine aux Capucines, Jane Angora will be unveiling an EP at the end of spring, recorded at Studios Saint Germain. The release party will take place at La Boule Noire on June 30. The band will showcase its Anglo-American influences and a French songwriting style infused with pop-rock, country-rock, and folk-rock, in the vein of artists like Alain Bashung and Véronique Sanson. Hailing from Paris, Jane Angora blends rich melodies with thoughtful lyrics, taking listeners on a sonic and narrative journey where instruments and voices intertwine to serve emotion. At the helm of this project are a lyricist born in the 1950s, a 30-year-old composer-performer, and a singer of the same age. Together, they combine the artistic sensibilities and musical influences of their different generations to create songs that feel both contemporary and timeless.
