La Fuga

Tommaso Franz is an Italian singer-songwriter whose music blends raw, analog production with introspective and atmospheric songwriting. After his debut single Fuoco Notturno, Tommaso ventures into darker and more visceral territories with his new single La Fuga. Strongly influenced by British folk, the backbone of the track rests on Nick Drake’s iconic open tuning (Pink Moon) and the psychedelic atmospheres of John Martin, yet it evolves into a more tense and driving sonic architecture. Inspired by various philosophical themes, La Fuga tells the story of an intense confrontation with oneself: a descent toward one’s own darkness, where the demons that “run in the stomach” are not to be driven away, but embraced.
