Wuzy Bambussy is vocalist Kat Harrison & songwriter, producer & multi-instrumentalist Nikolai Jones. Based in the beating heart of Englands’ West country, the pair and their far flung host of accomplices fire up an eclectic, beatific soundtrack of eclectic vibes, encompassing funk, folk, indie rock & electronica. Throughout 2023 Bambussy released a single a month for 10 months which drew worldwide press and airplay. “Late Libation” is the 3rd offering from the duo’s debut LP The Ghost & The Rhythm, releasing on the 15th April 2026. A hybrid slab of funk R&B and rock – Late Libation is a toast to the surviving and an offering to the fallen. Staccato bass and cracking rimshots power the verse rhythm giving vocalist Kat Harrison space to weave her bewitching wiles. Snarling guitars and thunderous drums power the triumphant choruses. As Harrison soars with the refrain ‘Tell the DJ at the station, This is the Bambussy sound’ The song bears all the trademark Bambussy settings. Neck snapping grooves with uneasy earworms, whirling furiously round on the fairground ride of an increasingly uncertain world.
