Le Roi Luis – Il Pleut Sur Paris

Le Roi Luis is an eclectic artist, admiring black American, African and Caribbean music with a keen sense of groove. Musician, Songwriter and Performer born in France, he considers himself above all as a Parisian citizen open to the world. It must be said that he is helped in this by origins ranging from Cameroon to Algeria, passing through the Jewish quarters of Warsaw, Lodz and San Paoli, the northern part of the port of Hamburg. King Louis singing “I Wish I Was a Man Like You” in Walt Disney’s “The Jungle Book” inspired his artist name. His upbringing from parents who were former Rap and R&B producers (during the 90s) also gave him a love of urban music which he plays as a Producer / BeatMaker.
