“looking for A name”, with a big A, is a french duo formed in March 2020 by two young musicians from the Strasbourg’s region, Basile Jacquemin and Sarah Faure. They know each other since high school, but the idea of reforming a project doesn’t occur until the few last days before the Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges’ application ending. They compose a piece, and participate in the stride. They have no name, they are nothing and no one, but a common passion, burning and unifying imposes itself on them. The two artists love to compose together, their collaboration then becomes perennial and ambitions grow up. Until this day, they have released five singles and are preparing to release a first album. Their music, setting between Dream Pop and Alternative Rock, colored by the indie universe they affectionate, is the result of rigorous self-production. A powerful voice, napping rock instrumentations at the pace of assembly, sometimes spatial and glitched, defines their pieces. looking for A name is looking for You
