Ras Manga began his musical journey in college. In 2002-2003 at the beginning of his stay in Ghana, he left Hip-hop for reggae, the musical genre that dominates his compositions today. since then, he has surrounded himself with professional musicians and has always pushed his musical experimentation further to create a style, a way of making his music. his reggae is inspired by the streets of Accra (capital of Ghana), Cotonou (capital of Benin), Lomé (capital of Togo), Abidjan (capital of Côte d’Ivoire) and Gagnoa, his hometown in west-central Côte d’Ivoire. December 8, 2018 Ras Manga arrives in France and settles in Nantes. A yer later he succeeded whith the help of friends, to set up a group in order to play his two albums live and to create new compositions whith them. At the start of 2019, show dates were already displayed when in march 2020, one week before the first show, the French government annouced the ban on gatherings of more than 100 people and the closure of theaters, in cause of Covide 19. But the artist remains motivated. In november 2020, he goes through iMusicians to launch his first two albums (Natty Dread and Diménou) which you can follow on Deezer, Amazon Music, Youtube Music …
