Chinò e il mare is a trio born in Bologna, where in 2022 they began composing verses and songs in the intimacy of the studios assembled within the domestic walls. They perform live between Emilia where they live and Southern Italy, the land of origin of its members. In July 2024 they released their self-produced debut EP, In Balìa: a work that intertwines the roots of indie with post-rock tensions, electronic settings, dirty harmonies and jazz nuances. The lyrics, in Italian, tell of the sea and the trees, the time that passes and takes away, the difficulty and power of words.
