Paint It Black

Known for fusing operatic vocals with a contemporary flair, emerging artist Claudillea creates boundary breaking music. Her latest release, is a highly anticipated full cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Paint It Black”. Claudillea rose to fame in 2020 after winning a place on The Voice UK where she took the panel of judges by storm in her blind audition, remixing the classic “Queen of The Night Aria”, with an internet viral reaction by Will.I.Am. Originally from Cambridgeshire but raised in Borneo, Malaysia, Claudillea’s multicultural background (her grandparents are from the Seychelles, Lebanon and Italy respectively) and environment gave her an eclectic upbringing, enabling her to view the world without limits. Keen to be different to her peers, Claudillea focused on classical vocal techniques and truly sculpted her sound; having studied at the Manhattan School of Music. Now based in London, Claudillea is focused on on modernising the perception of opera by making it more accessible and collaborative. This type of artistry cements her place in the inspiring new class of rebellious young artists who refuse to be boxed in by musical lanes and genres.
