Hungarian singer-songwriter Richard Körmendi releases his new single Cold Urban Sighs on May 11th, 2026, a cinematic alternative rock track blending raw emotional intensity with atmospheric urban grandeur.
Drawing on the energy of Nirvana, the dramatic scope of Muse and the anthemic drive of 30 Seconds to Mars, the track issues a powerful call to rise above the darkness of a city that no longer feels like home. Dark, melodic and cinematic, Cold Urban Sighs showcases Körmendi’s distinctive voice: a classically trained lyric tenor channelled through a rock edge.
After completing a degree in professional classical singing and performing leading roles in musical theatre productions, Körmendi returned to original songwriting and launched his English-language project in 2026, with Cold Urban Sighs marking his fourth release alongside My Remedy, Release Me, Enthralling and I Own the Night.
Cold Urban Sighs is available on Spotify, Apple Music and all major platforms from May 11th, 2026.
